THIS UNIT SPECIFICALLY - HAVE OWNED FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW, I LIVE IN THE CHICAGO SUBURBS, AND THE CANOPY HAS FALLEN APART, THE WIND HAS DESTROYED ALL THE CLIPS, IT IS HANGING DOWN, THE RODS HAVE FALLEN OUT BECAUSE THE CLIPS ARE NOT IN PLACE ANYMORE. I PURCHASED IN APRIL OF 2021, AS OF JULY 2022, 2 CLIPS BROKE OFF, AND MORE AND MORE, I TRIED CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH HANOVER AND ITS BEEN NOW 5+ MONTHS OF GETTING NO WHERE WITH HANOVER PRODUCTS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, CAN'T GET ANY PARTS, AND HAVE THESE ALUMINUM POSTS STICKING OUT OF MY PATIO WITH NO CANOPY TO COVER. THE PHOTOS ATTACHED SHOW HOW BAD IT GOT IN A MATTER OF A FEW WEEKS. ORIGINALLY STARTED OFF WITH ONLY 2-3 CLIPS BREAKING AND PROGRESSED FURTHER. NOW, I HAVE 5 RODS THAT ARE NO LONGER IN THE CANOPY AND IT HAS COMPLETELY FALLEN APART. I bought this for a place to store my UTV, which in theory would be perfect. But unfortunately, this is NOT the best engineered/machined product. There is some mis-labeling, making it a guessing game. Fortunately we're fairly intelligent people, so we figured it out. Additionally the center of this is extremely flimsy. This is due to a 9 1/2 foot span with thin and not very well-supporting aluminum. Also when putting this together, it extremely hard to line up screws in the pre-machined holes due to the flimsy aluminum parts moving and not staying in place, resulting in cross threading. It also says in the description that it is “opaque“ poly carbonate panels, when in fact they are clear. I feel that this is not worth the $1,406.43 that I paid for it. I think it's worth maybe $750 to $975, tops. It is not something that I would recommend to anyone who is in need of a cute single car carport. And less than a month later the price has dropped to $1199.97, a whopping difference of $206.46! And I can't get through to Amazon due to their phones not taking calls because of the Covid19 pandemic! Amazon sucks!

I like the way this carport looks. That said, I don't know anywhere in the country where it would hold together. I live in Northern NY. First, the snow pushed down on the panels and they fell out. The next winter, I kept on it with a snow rake. It lasted through the winter, then in the spring we got a big wind. That got under the panels and they popped up and out, one by one. There are only 3 panels left in. My neighbor is going to try to help me figure something out to keep them in. I fear I'm going to have to disassemble the entire thing and dispose of it. So, if you get snow or wind, don't purchase.

I love this. So much that I bought a second. Fairly easy to put up by myself. It provides shade for our deck and has withstood decent storms. I did stitch the canvas top on one end to keep the poles from sliding out in wind (poles are slightly too short). This was also less expensive than the one at Home Depot and free shipping. Can’t beat that!
